#1 – Find Ways To Build Positive Emotions In Your Life
The impact of positive thinking on work, health, and life is studied by Barbara Fredrickson, a positive psychology researcher at the University of North Carolina. Fredrickson published a landmark paper that provides insights about positive thinking and its impact on skills. Her study suggests that positive emotions broaden your sense of possibility and open your mind up to more options. In other words, the more positivity you engage in, the more open and expansive your life will be.
Entering into 2023, find things you are passionate about, and establish a routine with the things that you love. Use the elements of wealth for reflection – health, career, finances, relationships, and personal growth. In your journal, under each element, write-down something you are passionate about. For example, under health, perhaps you are inspired by healthy meals. Perhaps entering into the New Year you set the intention to cook more and develop your craft! Gratitude, thankfulness or gratefulness, comes from the Latin word gratus. Gratus means “pleasing” or “thankful”. It is regarded as a feeling of appreciation.
